Aura Moreno

Aura Moreno, a native of Colombia, came to the US in 2002 as an international student, earned her B.A. in Applied Sociology and M.B.A. at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Aura has worked in many countries including Colombia, Canada, Venezuela, Haiti and the United States. Most recently, she worked as a medical case manager at MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME supporting clients by helping them gain access to the resources needed to achieve their health goals. Through present and past work experiences, Aura has developed an appreciation for human and cultural diversity and finds it rewarding to meet people from varied backgrounds. Aura knows how challenging it is to be an international student while also adjusting to college life. And she appreciates the myriad of resources available to help international students thrive. Aura brings empathy and purpose to her work and looks forward to connecting with the Colby international student community.
