Our Philosophy

We believe in making it easy for our employer partners to recruit at Colby College by:

Collaborating with Bates and Bowdoin to give you the largest possible audience of talented and engaged students in a single evening
Building your talent brand on our campuses through co-promotion with student clubs, faculty, coaches, class deans, and other campus partners
Designing bespoke events tailored for the students you’d most like to attract

High-achieving (9% admitted, average SATs of 1500, 90% in the top 10% of their high school class)
Diverse (30% of students identify as domestic persons of color, 10% are non-U.S. citizens)
Intellectually curious (our students can choose from 56 majors and 35 minors, with 43% choosing two majors)
Experienced (Over 70% of the last three graduating classes have at least two internship, research, or global experiences before graduation)
Active (more than one in three students play a DIII varsity sport, Colby supports more than 100 student clubs, the Outing Club has more than 300 students)
Civically engaged (there are 70 active Waterville area community partners and an average of 800 students a year participate in civic engagement opportunities)
A source of tech talent (we have five interdisciplinary computation majors and a data science minor; 35% of computer science majors are women)
