Role Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic social media and email marketing intern to join our growing advertising and marketing agency and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. This is a flexible hybrid role for a Social Media and Email Marketing internship at Acorn To Oak Media Group. We will teach you how we approach the creative design process from concept to creation managing projects, and directing the agency’s strategic vision. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment. This internship can lead to a full-time or part-time position with our dynamic company.
Experience
Graphic Design, Web Design, and Branding skills.
Organizational skills and willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, WordPress(Divi, Elementor, BeBuilder) and Project Management Platforms(Teams, Slack, Google Business Suite) a Plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Email, CRM and loyalty experience (Cannabis a Plus), exposure, or willingness to learn and adapt.
Research skills and a willingness to immerse yourself into the specific Industries and day-to-day operations of our client’s operations, and enhance their presence, is THE MOST CRUCIAL qualification.
Requirements
Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords)
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
Current enrollment in a related AA, BS or Master’s degree
Responsibilities
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
Prepare promotional presentations
Help create email campaign templates
Update content on WordPress websites
Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
Help create, organize and promote marketing webinars
