The Safety Risk Assessment Representative role is critical in helping dealerships reduce their risk and exposure to hazards by conducting thorough site visits and implementing robust safety programs. This position involves performing quarterly on-site safety audits to identify potential risks and present findings, along with actionable recommendations, to stakeholders. The safety program also includes on-site training, reviews of customer facilities and employee work practices, customized online training, and access to a toll-free hotline for safety-related inquiries.

Responsibilities:
- Safety Risk Assessments: Conduct on-site safety audits at automobile dealerships, identifying areas of risk and recommending solutions to improve safety and compliance.
- Training & Presentations: Deliver formal safety training and presentations, both virtually and in-person, to dealership teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Program Implementation: Introduce and implement comprehensive safety programs that align with industry regulations, including OSHA standards, and address specific dealership needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Present safety audit findings and recommendations to dealership stakeholders, helping them understand risks and supporting them in making informed decisions to improve safety.
- Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support for safety-related inquiries ensuring dealership staff can access timely and accurate safety guidance.
- Safety Program Review & Customization: Review customer facilities and employee work practices, customize safety training, and deliver ongoing safety program assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Communication & Customer Service Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on customer service and building strong relationships with dealership stakeholders.
- Training & Presentation: Experience in conducting training sessions and presenting in large group settings, both virtually and in person.
- Safety Expertise: Familiarity with OSHA standards and other safety regulations affecting automobile dealerships. A solid understanding of general safety-related matters is essential.
- Independent & Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with a team to complete tasks.
- Task Management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize them in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and an exceptional ability to stay organized while managing complex tasks and projects.
- Research & Support: Provide ongoing research and support for assigned projects, contributing to the continuous enhancement of safety programs and services.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based software applications to manage and document safety audits, training, and other tasks.
Experience & Education:
- Experience: Minimum of two years working in a retail automobile dealership or with a service provider in safety services. Prior experience in safety audits or risk assessment is highly beneficial.
- Travel: Ability to travel frequently, 3-5 days per week, to conduct on-site safety assessments and training.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Certifications: OSHA a plus.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, representing EGCS and the safety program in a positive light.
