Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate with executive management to establish strategic Operations plans, objectives, initiatives, and work plans for the project
- Establish and maintain relationships with representatives of client agencies and stakeholders to promote and develop Maximus services
- Develop, implement, and administer Operations processes and policies to ensure customer satisfaction, improved efficiency, and high productivity
- Responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution for organizational excellence
- Build a strong management team and direct assigned staff to ensure the completion of work in a timely and efficient manner
- Align objectives, measure results, conduct developmental discussions and complete performance reviews
- Build and execute an operational strategy to deliver a superior client experience
- Create capacity for business and people growth, development, continuous improvement, and project compliance with contract operational service level agreements
- Maintain an understanding of and ensure compliance with Maximus policies, project policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations applicable to programs administered by Maximus
- Collaborate and work closely with clients and leadership team on project specific directives/initiatives
- Assist in the development of automated solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Leverage technology, continuous improvement, and transformational change initiatives to optimize business processes
- Serve as a key member of Project leadership team
- Communicate and collaborate with management, supervisors, and staff to identify challenges and opportunities and to develop creative and innovative solutions for operational excellence
- Provide guidance, direction and development for Operations directors and managers
- Coach, set expectations, conduct performance appraisals, and provide career development, succession planning, corrective action, and recognition for assigned staff
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study and 12+ years of relevant professional experience required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Must live in or near Milwaukee, WI
- Must work onsite in Milwaukee, WI
- Experience with TANF policy and programs, specifically Wisconsin Works/W2 program and associated systems is strongly preferred
- Current or recent certification as W2 FEP by WI DCF is strongly preferred
