Role Overview
As a CAD designer, you will work at the intersection of process and automation. You will work along side a team of experienced CAD designers and take full ownership of a core project focused on improving our production flow. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers, technicians, and cross-functional leaders to reshape how work gets done. You will learn new CAD software’s and master the art of dental creation. You will be at the forefront of leveraging AI to automate manufacturing steps and improve design consistency.
This is a hands-on opportunity to drive meaningful change while building career-defining skills.
Key Responsibilities
Use CAD software to design dental restorations. You will learn how to become Masters in ExoCad and 3Shape CAD software’s
Evaluate where automation can assist in dental restoration production
Leverage AI tools to improve throughput
Collaborate with the R&D team to implement process changes to our manufacturing SOPs.
Leverage tools such as Blender so the company becomes less reliant on dental specific software’s
Evaluate existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and propose enhancements
Present project results to leadership at the conclusion of the internship

Essential Skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field; or recently graduated looking for an opportunity to work on a growing team.
Experience with some for of Design software
101 level understanding of AI tools and how they can be incorporated into a new ecosystem
Strong analytical skills with an interest in process optimization
Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data tools; CAD or process mapping software a plus
Ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok to increase efficiency
Clear communication and documentation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
Respectful and collaborative. A true team player.
